Hey! So I’ve seen these tissue paper flowers on pinterest and have been wanting to try them for so long. I made them today and they are so cute!
Here’s how to make them
I got this idea from: http://www.marthastewart.com/265163/pom-poms-and-luminarias-how-to#slide_0
Stack 8 pieces 20 by 30 inch of tissue paper. Make 1 1/2 inch accordion folds, crease each fold.2.Fold a piece of wire over the tissue, then twist.3. Round the ends off by trimming with scissors.4. Separate the layers one at a time pulling away from the center.
First of all, HAPPY VALENTINES DAY! Ok now back to the post. 🙂 I love chocolate chip cookies, especially crispy! I made this Chocolate Chip Mug Cake and it was pretty good! If you have them, I would use milk chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet though if you like it sweet.
Here is the recipe
I found this recipe at: http://kirbiecravings.com/2015/09/chocolate-chip-mug-cake.html
Chocolate Chip Mug Cake
4 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp brown sugar
1/4 tsp. baking powder
3 Tbsp. milk
1/8 tsp. vanilla
1/2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
2 Tbsp. semi sweet chocolate chips ( or you can use milk chocolate)
Put all ingredients except chocolate chips in mug. This is a small mug cake so you will want to use an 8 oz. mug. Mix with a small whisk until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed. Mix in half of the chocolate chips, sprinkle the other half on top.
Put in microwave. The recipe said to cook for a minute but I thought 50 seconds worked better.
Today I am posting this delicious Copycat Orange Julius recipe. It is so good and is super easy to make, it only takes about 5 minutes! It tastes amazing! We made it in my cooking class and it is seriously AWESOME! We also did an omelet I might share some time!
So, I’ve never really had an orange Julius before but if they taste anywhere close to this one I will be begging for more!
Hi! I made these slice n’ bake valentines cookies today. They are delicious! This is my first time making these cookies and most of them turned out pretty well. These are the perfect cookie for Valentines day. Everyone will love them! Get the recipe for the dough below. Once you have the dough made, take 1/3 of the dough and use food coloring to die it red. Roll the red dough out pretty thick and cut hearts out of it.
Once you cut the hearts out line them up and stick them together. Try not to ruin the shape. Next you will use the normal dough, roll it into little snakes of dough and cover the row of hearts(sorry I don’t have a picture for this step)
When you have the whole heart row covered gently roll it to get it round. Once that’s done cover it in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour or over night.
Once refrigerated, slice your cookies 1/2 inch thick and bake for 8-10 mins, or until bottoms are slightly golden brown.
This recipe is from:http://www.laurenslatest.com/slice-n-bake-valentine-heart-cookies/
3 cups unbleached, all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup sugar
2 sticks butter, cold & cut into chunks
1 large egg
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 1/2 teaspoons liquid red food coloring
In a medium bowl mix flour and baking powder. Cream butter and sugar together. Slowly add in dry ingredients. Once dough is mixed remove 2/3 of it. Mix red food coloring into other 1/3 of dough until desired color.
Roll dough out 1 inch thick. Cut out hearts, line them up, and stick them together. Roll the rest of the dough into little “snakes” and cover heart rows. Wrap in plastic. Refrigerate 1 hour or overnight.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line baking sheets with parchment paper. Take dogh rolls out of refrigerator and cut into 1/2 inch cookies. Place on baking sheets and bake for 8-10 mins. or until slightly brown on bottom.
